The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Through all our unending time

Through all our unending time

M A Heathcote

For however many tears
Weíve both tried not to cry
For however many years
Iíve lived trying not to die
Praying, wanting, not to lie
Yearning, endlessly, longing,
Through all our unending time
Iíve never really; learned!
Iíve never really; yearned!
To look closely into... your eyes
Too tell you; goodbye!
