These days and nights dreamt in Eden

by

M A Heathcote

These days and nights dreamt in Eden
Starlight locked within a feathered raven

By what mental block what dark o’clock
Does desire keep in our hearts post hoc?

Love adjourn to my arms perdition is afar
Moonlight emanate us with his errant star

Embrace thy fluid gown of flesh on-fire
Thy amorous world is in a turmoil desire

Fate judge us purely by our hearts decree
Else leave us in this Arcadian, declivity.
