The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - The bride

The bride

by

M A Heathcote

Hewn from a strata of galaxies demure
Inured with a witchcraft heartrendingly pure
The bride wears her wedding dress like haute couture
Dressed in a heavenly gown made by Channel or Dior!

Poised like a vision, sumptuously, veiled
This supernatural beauty, swan like sailed,
A stunning intoxicating ivory little creature, divine
Then takes her grooms arm, whispers thou shall be mine!
