The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Beyond breast and thorn

Beyond breast and thorn

M A Heathcote

The quarters of sun and moon
Are rising as they fall
Absolving the day and night
In all there shadowy form

Unveiling a once lost heirloom
An end without a pall
A shining starry globe of light
Beyond breast and thorn!
