Pink raindrops
by
M A Heathcote
April in her crown of splendor
Shows to heaven all her beauties-spoil
Those clouds of pink-perfection
Waver heavily-bowed on bare earth
Outside the church like confetti.
There waterfall fountains cascading
Trailing on the winds-white-ribbon.
They came through the casement of our window
...the petals fell on the rocking chair - pink raindrops
