The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Is it in your hand, your lip or eye?

Is it in your hand, your lip or eye?

by

M A Heathcote

Where is the rouge kiss Iíve waited for?
Where is the knock on the hearts lead door?
Where are the tarragon fields of dream?

Where is this last-supper of immoral-flesh?
Where are these desires, desires-dressed?

Is it in your hand, your lip or eye?
O lord tell me before I die,
The child of your cry!
