The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - In every corner of this world

In every corner of this world

M A Heathcote

In every corner of this world
Thereís a beauty on this earth
Unfurling like a flower
Unfurling like the wings of a bird
In every corner of this world
Thereís a citrus lemon-moon
Shining on a lullaby ocean of blue
Mystic landscapes moving unheard
Like a desert dune of beauty
Unto me and unto you...

In every corner of this world
thereís a moment endless
Burning like campfire embers
When your soul skips bye
In the pattern of another dress
In the pattern of pure
Unadulterated, happiness
Iíll catch you for sure
For ever more...

Because falling in love
Is the beauty of the world
For me and for you
As long as the world keeps turning
Itíll hypnotize us two
Again and again
In the surf of a dream
Again and again
In our hearts weíll dance through a seem
Where the shadows fall lost and lingering
Where the sunlight slides
Silver on a mountain-glide
Iíll find you my love, still singing
Your mine!
