The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - In answer

M A Heathcote

What palpable touch
Does your soul embrace to speak?
To breathe, and mouth
Such beauty--afar
That I profess to feel
A cauterized burn in my heart
Reopened and unhinged, unlocked
Towards your love
Towards your healing beauty
Towards those moments tender
Cherished as words we keep
As keep-sakes speaking_
Sending and relaying
Oh my love_
My love for you
Will be a maelstrom a whirlwind?
A passion and a desire, eternal
To hold you entwined in a kiss
Knowledgeable of how
Your serpentine hips
Will hiss_
Will be but a moment
Of our heavenly bliss..
In reading from each others lips!
