The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Divisions of vanity
Divisions of vanity
by
M A Heathcote
The sun and moon
Where lovers once
Till dancing on the sea
They saw in one another
A single vanity;
That encumbered them so truly
That never the one could meet,
And dance now in the mirror,
Of the others sacred seat.
