Beyond your love
by
M A Heathcote
Beyond your love
I have no other life
No will to breathe
Nor courtship, conceive
Through laughing
Eyes to believe
Beyond your love
I have no other life
Although the ground is circling
And autumn leafs are gathering_
And ritually moving _
Between our splintering
Spliced-up embers of dust
Although as these histories
Of historic, memories
Go..? And turn to ashes
As a mulch glides
Golden through-out
A molten hillside
We’ll reach our gods
Penthouse, palaces
Leaving our volcanic, bodies
Of stone
A cross for you
A cross for me
A place beyond
The snow_
Beyond your love
I have no other life
To err go_
And that for all eternity I know!
A pregnant void fills the air
a pivotal loneliness
all moody and surreal
is waiting to be unraveled
from the covers of darkness
like a Constable, landscape
kissed into life, everlasting_
like a Sleeping Beauty
yours is a painting of love
my lady in-waiting_
