The Web Poetry Corner - Luigi Lalumia - borderline angelic

borderline angelic

by

Luigi Lalumia

was she brought to for a reason?
in some past life was i a wretch to be given a second chance?
to be blessed with this woman to have by my side
through this life
it almost seems planned
this beautiful light in my life shows me myself
almost daily damn it
she see's inside me
amazingly she see in me what i have not done yet
she challenges the worst in me
right in front of me ly the bones of what i pretend to vail
behind a shroud of sarcasm and fear
she helps me to understand
sometimes loud
sometimes soft
all the time to the end
lately...
i look into her eyes of blue
tiny pools of black
to try and see into her
as she does me
i cannot
in time i will
she is a teacher...
borderline angelic
heavenly she is
sent to me i believe
i await and cherish everymoment we share together
i wish for you when we are apart
