The Web Poetry Corner - Luigi Lalumia - Sit In The Sun

Sit In The Sun

by

Luigi Lalumia

Sit in the Sun
A friend told me
As I sit here
I feel the Suns light hold me

The Suns continuos flow of light
Runs through my body and mind
The Suns way of saying
Everything is alright

I am breathing slower now
In 1 2 3
Out 1 2 3

When my eyes are closed
The Sunlight ignites a tiny firework show
To brighten the night inside me

The Sun is the Earth's Mother
Our Mother too
Like Mothers do
She does all she can
Against a canvas of blue

Are you under the weather
Sit in the Sun
A friend told me
You'll feel better
