The Web Poetry Corner - Luigi Lalumia - LIMB

LIMB

by

Luigi Lalumia

Grey,cool and damp
the cold wind burns my cheeks
the fog was to thick to cut
the Sun had no chance
wet drops glistened and formed a chain of diamonds
that hand from the limbs
signs of falls last dance

The sounds of barking dogs and honking geese
fill the trees
the last of the leaves at the tip top
see everything
waving in the wind
hangin on with one finger
