The Web Poetry Corner - Luigi Lalumia - Dance Your Dream

Dance Your Dream

by

Luigi Lalumia

Dance to the beat within your soul
You clap your hands
Your feet keep time
You are a body of rythm

I picture the smile on your face
Your smile reflects the glow
of your eye's shaped like cat's eyes
Elegant are the moves that you make to match

A pinch of jazzy
A smigine of saucy
More than an ounce of sassy
Overall totaly classy

In front of a crowd
Your dancing makes them loud
I wonder-
Do you see our wonder
As you cast your ryhmic spell
At your command
You bring us back to reality
With a perfectly timed heel

It's obvious you are dancing your dream
The way your hands push air
There is no fear in the steps you take
Your confidence is clear

On a cloud up there
Your mother has the best seat
I know she's smiling back at you
She must be very proud
We are too

Dance -
Keep dancing
You move
Not only yourself
You move
Everyone that watches you

It is a beautiful thing
To see you
Dancing your dream
