The Web Poetry Corner - Linda Lamb - My Dearest And Sweet Sixteen
My Dearest And Sweet Sixteen
by
Linda Lamb
My little Sweet Sixteen where did time go,
I look at you and my how you've grown;
Into a beautiful young lady for me to see,
and that's what I alway's wanted you to be.
Soar to your future on the wings of the dove,
and look for guidance from up above.
He will show you the way that is right,
and help you to make your future bright.
Time passes by so very, very fast,
but alway's remember the teaching's
of your past,
For they will guide you on your journey
down the road and then GOD will
help you to lighten the load.
