What Can I Do Now?

by

Laura Beth Leither

You're making me feel guilty,
You're making me cry.
I already apologized,
I'm sorry I lied.
I know it was wrong,
But what can I now do?
You can't get mad at me now,
For not wanting to talk about my life before you.
The past is the past,
And the future will only tell,
If you trust me,
The way you did before today.
