Good things are going on,
Throughout the U.S.A.
Uniting and singing songs,
Spreading peace in a loving way
But peace is not what's here,
When terrorists are about
Living in a state of fear,
Resisting urges to scream and shout
Ironic, the things you see,
When you look around and think
The reason we've formed unity,
Makes my heart begin to sink
So many lives were taken,
For people to realize
Together we're forsaken,
Bonded with deeper ties
