The Web Poetry Corner - Laramie Lee Roecker - Forever
Forever
by
Laramie Lee Roecker
It started as
A letter or five--
Just random words
Between you and I.
Then came the phone calls:
One, two, three.
And all of a sudden
You were talking to me!
We got together;
You became my best friend.
Oh my God,
This could never end!
We became lovers,
Then you: my fiancé.
And yes, we are
Still together today.
I am your husband,
And you, my wife.
You, meesa honey,
Are my entire life.
I look back now
Without regret.
I'll love you forever,
Please don't forget.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
Blue
