The Web Poetry Corner - Laramie Lee Roecker - Cry Without You
Cry Without You
by
Laramie Lee Roecker
Sometimes I cry
And I don't know why.
I really fear
Of life without you near.
Sometimes I feel
Like I'm left in the cold.
But then I think of you-
Thoughts that ne'er grow old.
You make me feel warm
And bring a smile to my face.
And I see our future-
So sweet I can taste.
Yes, my dear,
We will be together forever.
We have a mutual love
That nothing can sever.
Ev'ry thread of my being
Says we were meant to be.
We are soulmates-
This anyone can see.
Like a fine wine
We will better with age.
To our book of Love
We will add many a page.
I love you, my angel,
With sincerity so dear.
It's no wonder I would cry
Without you here.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
Our house isn’t our house
