Painting In The Sky

As the sun pulled up its blanket, preparing to tuck the world in for a rest, I was overwhelmed by feeling so incredibly blessed.

I decided to sit out longer enjoying the silence within myself, sorting the thoughts that don't matter and leaving them to rest on a shelf.

The lights turned on in the sky as the cool breeze blew on my face, I looked up and realized thats where my spirit will go when I finally leave this place.

I knew right there as I witnessed this painting in the sky, there is so much of this universe than just you or I.

We witness everyday beauty, and we think that it's only here, but the beauty extends beyond us to the universal atmosphere.

As humans we get lost it our own egos believing we developed it all, but in the grand scheme of things our voices are relatively small.

Something out there a much greater force has created this spectacular view, to show you are grateful for its gifts, live your life with a heart that is true.

This evening reminds me of what I lose sight of but do already know, to love well, appreciate all that god has given, until its time for my spirit to go.
