The Web Poetry Corner - Kenneth R. Bays - Take Me Away

Take Me Away

by

Kenneth R. Bays

Death my friend where have you been?
The time has come, I'm near my end.
I've lived a life of sickness and strife.
So take me Death away from this life.
To leave this life might be a shame,
There's no one else but me to blame.
With open arms I welcome you.
Take me to a place with a better view.
Please be on time, and don't be late.
Death please take me to Heavens Gate.
