My Best Friend

The one that I love with all my heart.
Is always with me, we could never part.
I loved him on the first day we met.
I know a better love I could never get.
A better friend I could never have.
He makes me happy when I am sad.
A day will come when we'll have to part.
When it does it will tear out my heart.
The time will come when we'll meet again,
Up in heaven with all our friends.
When I die I know I'll be ready,
To see my best friend, my cat Teddy.
