To my Mother, Eleanor

My family means so much to me.
Without them I could never be.
We've had our ups, we've had our downs.
We've had our smiles, we've had our frowns.
A better family I could never have,
They make me happy when I am sad.
There's one in our family and I'm glad to say,
Without her we wouldn't be here today.
She made our lives when times were bad,
She made our lives even when she was sad.
So to my mother I dedicate this poem.
For all the love she has shown.
