The Highway of Life
by
Kelley Ann Mattix
As I was driving down the highway of life,
I looked to my right, and saw birth.
I looked ahead, and saw life.
I looked to the left, and saw the end.
As I was driving down the highway of life,
I looked to the right, and saw all the children of the Earth.
I looked ahead, and saw all the adults of the world.
I looked to my left, and saw some slowly turning left.
As I was driving down the highway of life,
I realized that we'll all slowly turn left, someday.
Someday.
