I am wanting,

I am wanting to be happy,

and to be loved,

and to be cherished

by someone worth my love.

I am looking,

I am looking for enlightenment,

and information in the

arms of someone new.

I am wanting to grasp

someone’s hand and walk

through life together,

hand in hand,

happiness abound.

To be together

and not alone,

no longer looking,

no longer searching

for the other half of my soul.
To feel complete,

whole,

one with someone else.

I do not need

to be complete,

to be with someone else.
I can be alone,

I just don’t wish to

do it all

alone, by myself.
