Forgiving

Can I forgive myself for
all the things I have done,
all the people I have wronged,
all the false justifications made right?
Can I step down from this high step
and be the same girl I was before,
when I was quiet and shy?
Can I right my past wrongs,
fix the mishaps and disasters
that have been wrought in my path?
