verre reizen

ik wandel door het park,
ontmoet hier mijn wereld
reis zo door jou en mij
naar ver en diep,
van eindig tot onbekend
naar dwaalwegen en uitzicht
het heelal wordt hier verkend

een zwaan drijft voort
ogend naar zijn kroost
overziet dat wat moet
omdat het zo hoort

ik weet van verre landen
zie daar de mens
ontmoet hem in zijn tuin
vraag naar zijn diepe wens
zwijgend lopen wij rond
de stilte geeft antwoord
in de serene ochtendstond

in een houten goot
daalt een duif neer
spartelt in wat water
fladdert heen en weer
