het is stil

in de stilte
wordt zichtbaar
wat zuiver is
ik spreek niet over kilte
maar van rust
in een woordloos gebaar

woelige stromen
drijven naar de zee
waar ik in de ontluikende kim
een groeiend vertrouwen
omhoog zie komen

in die stilte
van rijzend genoegen
waar zand en water
komen en gaan
vertelt mijn ziel
dat eb en vloed
mij altijd al droegen
