een gang naar binnen

schuifelend peins ik
door de schier
eindeloze gang

zie schaarse
houten beelden
de schepping danken

het marmeren plavuis
hier dof door schaduw
elders nog plooiend
naar de dalende zon
vormt de hemelse weg
naar latijnse klanken

de hoge bogen
met eeuwigheid gevuld
laten de stilte zingen
over alles dat
de mens niet weet

een gang naar binnen
