The Web Poetry Corner - Jude Eydmann - Mother

Mother

by

Jude Eydmann

I no longer hurt
now you're gone.
Existence the dagger
starlight rebounds from.
Pain absorped to
Decadence.
Mother held my hand
I must offer in
Childhood trust.
I really belived it was her.
Mask so real
I kissed
Her poison lips
