Archives bear the name
~~SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER~~
Actor, Baron and Life Peer.
Played many parts in works
by Britain's William
Shakespeare. Sir Laurence
produced, directed and took
the lead in Henry V,
Richard III and Hamlet.
Films reached one hundred
including "Wuthering Heights"
and the delights of "Rebecca."
He partnered Vivien Leigh in
"Anthony and Cleopatra.

~~SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER~~
was Director of the National
Theatre for eleven years.
Son of a Clergyman, he was
married for ten years to
Jill Esmond, and for twenty
one years to Vivien Leigh.
He married Joan Plowright
in nineteen sixty-one.
Sir Laurence died in 1989.
His richly-toned voice we
remember yet and the world
will never forget his presence
and expert classical acting
ability.
