Economist, JOHN MAYNARD KEYNES
First Baron. Born 1883 died 1946.

Keynes became a Fellow at Kings
Oxford. He wrote many works on
Economics...students studying the
subject will know too well the
theories of "Keynesian Economics" :

Reverse of Monetarism - spending
one's way out of recession. These
ideas were accepted in postwar
days, but times change, and round
about the nineteen seventies,
recession and inflation walked
together. However
~~~JOHN MAYNARD KEYNES~~~
was a brilliant Treasury Representative
from the First World War, and he most
certainly captured the imagination in
his 1936 book "General Theory of
Employment, Interest and Money."

The Archives will honour his name.
