The Web Poetry Corner - Joyce Hemsley - We'll Meet again

We'll Meet again

by

Joyce Hemsley

I'm so sad I am leaving,
It's the end of the line.
Oh how I love you all,
The pleasure's been mine.

Bring on the dancing girls
Let's party all night;
With plenty of food and wine
And a softly glowing light.

Invite Rose from Accounts
and Meg from Finance,
Play up-beat music -
We will laugh, we will dance.

I could never say goodbye
dear friends, for I know you
too well; so grieve not or
fret not; this is only farewell.
