Sometimes the day is stormy

Sometimes the sun doth shine

'tis winter when you leave me

'tis summer when you're mine.

The rain falls when I doubt you

and wonder if you care

but the skies are always blue

when I see you standing there.

The nights are long without you

and clouds obscure each star

the weather is unpredictable

Because that is how you are.
