The Web Poetry Corner - Joyce Hemsley - Endless Dreams
Endless Dreams
by
Joyce Hemsley
She walked in the room
with a delicate air,
and he knew not whether
he was 'here or there'.
It was all so wonderful
and new, the chemistry
between those two.
Her presence was like
a breath of spring, so
beautiful and everything,
and as she gently smiled
his way, he saw those
darling buds of May.
In endless dreams they
drifted high, to some
new land beyond the sky;
Up and up they whirled
around - oh what pure
magic they had found.
