The Web Poetry Corner - Josette Marie Louise Lager - Let's Ride

Let's Ride

by

Josette Marie Louise Lager

Daddy Sticco is a handsome man
with hair as black as midnight,
with eyes to match glare with
a dare.

He has three sons maybe more,
one was left at someone else's
door,I feel like I'm at the
Ponderosa ranch,all half brothers
with different mothers.

So put on your boots daddy, the
ones with the cuban heels,let's
cut the cards, let's make a deal
we'll ride into the night riders
on the storm, were going back to
our Missouri farm.

NEXT?
Why don't you look at Janette
