The Web Poetry Corner - John William McGrath III - Three Quarter Time

Three Quarter Time

by

John William McGrath III

Hold me in your arms
Let me hold you in mine
Let me bask in your charms
In three quarter time

Let me just look at you
And gaze into your eyes
I'll be forever true
'Til I am old and wise

Love me darling dear
Stay with me my love
Life is so beautiful here
Till we meet above

Sweetheart dry those tears
We'll be together so sublime
Together we'll face our fears
In three quarter time
