The Web Poetry Corner - John William McGrath III - Sunstorm

Sunstorm

by

John William McGrath III

Sunbeams breaking up in clouds
Cascading down on Jannie's head
Raindrops gathering in crowds
Bows of color, where they are led

Moisture dewing up her hair
Looking so much like a crown
I'm so happy to be there
Beauty never let's you down

Lightning lights her angel face
A beacon radiating love
A picture of style and grace
Given from the skies above

Oh heavenly majesty so bright
Refracting colors in the rain
Dancing fragile swirls of light
Nature's masterpiece, our gain
