Seasons

One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen
Is rolling fields and hills of green
Wildflowers after a season of rain
A sight to ease most anyone's pain
A fall festival of painted leaves
Trees all dressed up for hallowed eve's
Then Thanksgiving snow, first sleighbell's ring
Jack frost's handywork... a beautiful thing
Then houses lighted in varying hues
People paying their Christmas dues
Then winter is set in shades of white
Exceedingly cold but a wonderful sight
Finally then the renewal of spring
Everyone ready to start again
Flowers and blossoms, a lovely scent
Another year has come and went
