Music

Have you ever listened to Festive music from another culture?
I ride on a carpet of pleasure, held aloft by the waves of music
Have you wept to the sad refrains of a language not understood?
Music is a language of it's own, My interpretation is by dance
Music is love put to sound, I love the riffs, the spiral crescendos
Percussive staccatos, The sine wave like trumpet and coronet
sounds of the Mariachi! I'm in heaven when the music is turned on
The rhythm causes my cells to get excited telling me to dance
And harmony just keeps my head in motion, my brain's in ecstacy
When I hear someone say "I can't stand that noise" what a pity
Although there are exceptions of course, but some don't like music
I feel so sad for them, there are sad songs that fit with their mood
A love song is like a breeze, a spirit of love caressing me softly
I am listening to a most beautiful love song by a Mariachi band
A classic that makes my heart sing with it as it knows the words
I am compelled to lean back and put both hands over my heart
I love the music of Baltic countries, the Germanic, Chechoslovakian
Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Yugoslavian, I love it all! MUSIC! MUSIC!
Wherever a heart loves is where music abounds, it is freedom of souls
The sound of a brook, the rustling of the branches from the breezes
Listen to the sounds of nature and resonance in your heart of hearts
Listen to the baby cry! It is a song of life... As beautiful as the birds
Even the sound of machinery has a melody, an air conditioner for one
But, do play the music of your youth! For there is the sound of memory
