A TRUE friend... One who thinks of you day and Night
Will sometimes hurt you, but always make it right
IF you will let them... Everyone has a side of a story
When you hear it you know, it was not vain or Glory

If I hurt you or made you cry, I would almost want to die
Almost... Because feelings are hurt by sincerity, not a lie
If I die for the pain inflicted, I wouldn't have another chance
Neither would you... Love is more than words run askance

We are not in touch, oh how I wish to be, a tear in my heart
I know you wish as I, or the love was never true, and apart
We are, and why? We were both stressed with other concerns
I love you with all my heart! more than I knew, and love burns

So I make this plea... come to me my darling! Speak to me of love
Tell me what it is, where we can meet, on a higher plane above
My life has been a mess... How about yours? Do you love me true?
Please Darling, Tell me! Let me tell you... Dearest what are we to do?
