Death is Life

Death... We do not want to broach the subject
I see so many preoccupied because they're left alone
I've lost my whole family at an early age, object
To let you know to let go, they were our's just for a loan
My brother came back to visit me, it was so real
He said we could have fun, as when he was with me
He took me to a basement, with a window I could feel
It was open and he said, follow if you want to feel free
It was follow the leader, a favorite when he was still alive
Out he dove with me in hot pursuit, Into an icy creek
Yes, he did all kinds of tricks, he really seemed to thrive
It was so real he was so fast, it was almost hide and seek
We reached the end he hugged me close, said gotta go
He smiled and left, I sat up in bed, a big smile on my face
As I said it was real, I felt his strong embrace, I know
And that was not the only time, many times I see my Bro
Death is not the end, it is a rebirth in a life we left for here
To be together for awhile with people we really love
Then return to the other side to be with others true and dear
Do not berate your fate down here, soon you'll be above
Live life to the fullest, be happy! They are happy there
When you grieve they pity you, for you do not understand
That they are with you many times, they can be anywhere
Not resticted as with us, They play in air, in sea, and land
