The Web Poetry Corner - John William McGrath III - Answered Prayer
Answered Prayer
by
John William McGrath III
I'm sure you must know the wages of sin
So turn around and begin again
You must stop escape your desperation
Find the heavenly destination
How can you know? Have you been there?
You look so pure, you look so fair
Though you look quite bright, not dense
Tell me please what is your experience?
Do you remember life in the other dimension?
Where all is you with no surface tension?
When God speaks it is with your own thought
You're caressed by all in a love not taught
The greatest curse one can know is this
Reincarnation with a memory of that bliss
So you see it's not that I am full of sin
Nor is it that I must begin again
You must understand I am here for you
I am here to let you know what to do
When you said that prayer so long ago
I was born here to return with you in tow
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
Focus on It...
