The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Free Feminists Forever

Free Feminists Forever

by

James Bredin

All these feminists should be told,
Get in the kitchen and stop being bold,
This feminist stuff weíve had enough,
Someone will just have to call your bluff.

You could make Shariah low look good,
Though this stuff is little understood,
Hardly heard till a few years ago,
Do they have feminists, I donít know.

Youíll get to decide what type of veil,
Slit or gauze or whateverís for sale,
A big brown gown all the way to the ground,
Nice and quiet and seldom a sound.

This is a great idea or donít you think?
Or are you one of the few that think it stinks?
Could we go back to what used to be?
What, we canít go back and you agree.
