The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Sheila Baby

Sheila Baby

by

James Bredin

You remember Sheila Baby, well sheís back on track,
Chretienís co conspirator who got the Martin sack,
I thought we heard the last of her but, No, No, No,
Sheís writing in the Post so everyone will now know?

Sheila wrote a book and she would never never lie,
Though no one else can remember and they donít know why,
Is she the scorned woman or should we bother to ask?
When she was acting PM, was she up to the task?

Tell me something good because I want to believe,
Sheila was a Liberal and would they deceive?
She doesnít like Paul Martin but heís our prime minister,
Would Adscam Liberals do something sinister?

She saved the Canada Health Act from a fire,
In the menís room, kicked Paul and called him a liar,
Then she saved some orphans who were lurking in there,
Have I gone mentally ill or should I even care?
