Going to Africa Again
Our prime minister tends to be on a constant world tour,
And wants to send our few troops to Sudan and Darfur,
Thirty wars in thirty years according to Kofi Annan,
No wonder they want our troops to Darfur in Sudan.
Should we go there just to keep warring sides apart?
Help one dictator so another has to depart,
White Christian soldiers in a black Islamic land,
And claim itís humanitarian and its just so grand.
Thirty wars in thirty years is quite a score
Plus Rwanda genocide and now Ivory Cost war
Throw AIDS into that factor and itís downright distraught,
Incompetent politicians who talk without a thought.
These international socialists want their issues solved,
Claim itís humanitarian and want us all involved,
And each new year they have a calamity or plague,
A war, a famine, genocide, corruption or AIDS.
And African civil wars are an annual event,
And our jet setting prime minister just wonít relent,
While we need someone to draw the country together,
Not some politician looking for a UN feather.
