Dalton's Budget 2004 (Ontario)

by

James Bredin

Dalton: Why did I know you wouldnít let me down?
I didnít expect much Ďcause I knew you were a clown,
And your budget showed me where you and I stand,
Your Liberal celebrated and thought it was grand.

With Liberal friends all around you, up to bat,
Will your health care premiums be your kick at the cat?
Am I missing something here as Iím taxed to the ears?
Liberal governments always leave us in arrears.

Itís only a matter of time and youíre all gone,
How much damage can you do before your swan song?
Why are we the people so utter ably dumb?
To elect you and yours -- special-interest scum?

Dalton: You could probably make Bob Rae look good,
And why do I know you feel so misunderstood?
Taxing and spending like a Liberal possessed,
Look for another job - garbage man I suggest
