The Canadian Access Act
And of course their conspiracies cannot be revealed,
Everything is alleged because everything is concealed,
Politicians and friends send bills for every caper,
Inconspicuous obnoxious pieces of paper.
For taxpayers to pay every dollar and cent,
Hidden in the Access Act, entombed where they’re sent,
Appointees and commissioners with fancy titles,
Think six-figure salaries and they could be recycled.
No inquiries please and no one ever goes to jail.
Appointees up high make sure investigations fail.
With shredders near in case someone points a finger,
Burn whistle blowers in case allegations linger.
Conspiracies of silence where everyone’s polite,
And everything is legal so no need to act contrite,
Silence could deafen one and there’s never any scorn,
And the Access Act hides everything that should be known.
