The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Uday Hussein

Uday Hussein

by

James Bredin

My name is Uday, Uday Hussein,
Son of Saddam and they say I’m insane,
Pulled an eight billion-dollar heist the other night,
With a note from my dad, that it was all right.

It took three big trucks to haul it away,
‘Cause US bombers were on the way,
And where do you hide eight billion bucks?
We found a place but it really sucks.

Sorry I can’t tell you where we are,
As we buy our way we can go quite far,
‘Cause if I told you, you’d make the call,
Then they’d come and we’d have nothing at all.
