The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Same-sex marriage laws
Same-sex marriage laws
Itís not the same-sex marriages -- itís the lack of discussion,
The imposition of pansy policies without repercussion,
And when did they ever consult with even one constituent?
Should we socialists surrender and feel forever confident?
And when theyíre done imposing their deception and demands
What will they do next; should we seek instructions and commands?
Will they legalize their adoption of little girls or little boys?
Should we inquire about this -- that they might be used as toys?
And these Liberals of course all point to the Supreme Court,
Decisions made from on high from their appointed support,
Judges never questioned who may indeed have hidden agenda,
And subservient citizens without recall or referenda.
And as if this sick issue is not bad enough -- in steps the pope,
From a gathering about pedophile priests and how to cope,
Though he may be right but this is strictly Canadian stuff,
We could fix this with referendums and recall strangely enough.
